Client Brief
Diabetes Besties approached Advids to create a video for their youth-focused health management platform. They needed to simplify complex insulin logging and carb counting for younger users. The objective was to increase user engagement and ensure children feel confident managing their daily healthcare routines through the mobile interface.
Video Creation Approach
Strategy development began with Advids auditing the existing application wireframes to establish a cohesive visual language for Diabetes Besties. Our team mapped out the user journey to ensure the Feature Tutorial Video addressed specific pain points regarding data entry and daily monitoring.
Calibrating the motion graphics involved a soft-color palette to reduce user anxiety during medical logging tasks. We choreographed the Carb Counter Icon to drift naturally into focus while simulating a school lunch environment to demonstrate real-world utility. Through interactive walkthrough animations, the production team demonstrated how the software adapts to various meal scenarios and activity levels throughout a typical day.
Across the final composition, we synchronized the narration with bright sound cues to signal successful data entries. The rhythmic structure maintains a steady flow to prevent information overload for younger viewers. Establishing functional guidance assets ensures the message remains clear while fostering independence in pediatric diabetes management.
