STIHL approached Advids to address operator fatigue caused by high-frequency engine oscillations. By developing a 3D machine animation video, the brand aimed to visualize their anti-vibration technology. The objective focused on demonstrating mechanical decoupling to convince professional loggers of superior ergonomic safety and long-term tool performance.

Video Creation Approach

Initiating the project required Advids to ingest detailed CAD schematics to establish an accurate technical baseline. Our team calibrated the internal physics engine to mirror real-world kinetic dampening within the STIHL MS Anti-Vibration System to ensure the 3D machine animation video maintained total engineering integrity throughout the production cycle.

Inside the virtual environment, x-ray perspectives reveal the helical spring compression as it isolates the engine unit from the handle assembly. Industrial mechanical simulations prove the tool's versatility across demanding forestry sites where sustained grip stability is paramount. We choreographed internal buffer movements to demonstrate how decoupling prevents mechanical energy from reaching the operator.
