Medtronic
Medtronic's video is designed to guide orthopedic specialists through the modular assembly and integration of their minimally invasive surgical instrumentation. Within high-pressure surgical environments, manual orthopedic procedures demand absolute mechanical precision and reliability. Without a standardized toolset, surgeons face prolonged operating room times and heightened risks of mechanical instrument slippage or misalignment during critical spinal distractions. Our team recognized that conveying the physical security of these modular components was paramount to driving clinical adoption.
We structured the visual framework of this medical device functionality video around high-fidelity, high-contrast CAD models of the Space-D system. The static compositions place the titanium sleeves, rack-and-pinion rails, and telescoping retraction blade against a solid, clinical background. We isolated individual components with clean, illuminated outlines to emphasize the secure interlocking connection points and self-locking buttons, so that orthopedic specialists immediately grasp the physical safety and structural value of the setup.
Our animation strategy at Advids employs precise mechanical rotations and exploded-view expansions to illustrate the physical interactions of the distractor turnkey and telescoping blade. We integrated these kinetic demonstrations within a cohesive hardware system structural breakdown to clarify the three-in-one versatility of the rack. Utilizing a clean, surgical aesthetic with a professional clinical palette, the piece reduces cognitive fatigue by guiding the viewer's eye exactly to the functional trigger points. This clinical design philosophy establishes an authoritative tone that builds trust among medical professionals and reinforces the call to action for adopting standardized minimally invasive surgery protocols.
