Meritor's video was produced to visually demonstrate the extreme stress tolerances and rugged durability of their heavy-duty planetary axles. In the highly demanding heavy-haul transport sector, fleet drivetrains must consistently perform under massive payloads and grueling conditions. Failing to deploy robust structural solutions leads to accelerated wear and sudden mechanical failure, resulting in costly unscheduled downtime. This asset highlights how planetary gear systems mitigate these risks by distributing extreme torque loads safely.
Our design team structured this heavy-haul engineering showcase using highly detailed CAD models to isolate and clarify individual mechanical components. By utilizing precise exploded-view graphics, the composition deconstructs the inner workings of the proportioning inter-axle differential and the bolt-on brake linings. We positioned these internal components against clean, minimalist backgrounds, allowing viewers to see the exact spatial layout of the steel housings. This visual breakdown ensures that Fleet Operators and Logistics Coordinators immediately grasp the structural value and maintenance access points of Meritor's machinery.
The motion strategy leverages synchronized mechanical rotations and dynamic component assembly to showcase the flow of torque and the movement of the gears. For this high-level industrial product overview, we integrated crisp text overlays containing critical specification data alongside the rotating models. The overall industrial design aesthetic reduces cognitive load by removing background distractions, keeping the viewer's focus on the product's performance data. Through this calculated approach, Advids created an authoritative visual asset that drives trust in Meritor's engineering and confidently leads stakeholders toward informed procurement decisions.
