NOV Wellbore Technologies
NOV Wellbore Technologies's video was engineered to prove the operational precision and structural reliability of their wellbore tool makeup systems. In the demanding oil and gas sector, precise tubular connection servicing is vital to preventing catastrophic downhole joint failures. The cost of inaction means facing devastating downhole tool damage, expensive rig floor accidents, and millions in unplanned rig downtime. Implementing our specialized torque-breakout automation prevents joint deformation while protecting expensive bottomhole assemblies.
Our design team started by laying out the spatial architecture of the entire rig floor to establish absolute clarity. This structural foundation grounds the wellbore equipment operational walkthrough, presenting a macro-to-micro view of the headstock and traversing tailstock. We highlight the self-centering synchronized clamp cylinders and the heavy-duty hydraulic console using isolated, high-contrast structural framing. By stripping away extraneous environment details, Drilling Engineers immediately grasp the technical layout and physical footprint of the unit.
To show the heavy hardware in action, we deployed a smooth, linear animation sequence that replicates the precise axial forces of the hydraulic push-pull mechanism. This mechanical function demonstration relies on a high-contrast industrial aesthetic, minimizing visual clutter to reduce cognitive fatigue for rig superintendents. By syncing the animated real-time torque logs with the physical rotation of the clamp, Advids established an authoritative tone that guides operators to the final call to action. The resulting visual narrative builds deep trust by demonstrating exact mechanical tolerances in a clear, digestible format.
