NetApp
NetApp's video was engineered to make invisible backend cloud infrastructure visually tangible for stakeholders. In the enterprise data storage space, organizations grapple with fragmented environments that bridge legacy hardware and modern public clouds. Failing to unify these systems results in operational bottlenecks, critical data silos, and costly service downtime during capacity scaling. Our team focused on showcasing how their software solves this friction by establishing an agile, unified data fabric that spans multiple environments without interruption.
We anchored the visual design of this hybrid cloud storage overview in a clean, structural grid system using clear geometric iconography to represent data streams. By depicting applications as distinct, color-coded functional nodes and clouds as simplified cloud icons, we mapped out the flow of data between on-premises sites and cloud partners like AWS and Azure. This modular architectural layout visualizes complex processes-such as scaling storage up to 20 petabytes or implementing built-in volume-level encryption-without cluttering the interface. This structured visual taxonomy allows IT Directors and Storage Architects to immediately grasp the efficiency gains and platform ROI.
The animation strategy relies on synchronized data flow transitions, where migrating nodes and expanding capacity blocks visually demonstrate the platform's high-speed scaling capabilities. We structured this technical product showcase video using high-contrast, structured UI assets that reduce cognitive load and prevent visual fatigue for technical viewers. This crisp composition highlights essential performance benchmarks, such as achieving seven million IOPS, in a digestible manner. Ultimately, the authoritative design execution, combined with Advids' precise pacing, instills deep technical trust and directs enterprise buyers toward adopting the modernized storage systems.
