Oil States Industries
Oil States' video was created to show how physical machinery synchronizes with digital control centers. In the offshore oil and gas sector, maintaining the structural integrity of aging caissons is a critical operational mandate. Ignoring subsea corrosion or dropped object damage leads to catastrophic structural failures, environmental hazards, and costly unscheduled downtime. By deploying a swaged liner repair system, operators can reinforce the caisson structure and safely extend its operational lifespan.
Our design team at Advids structured the visual framework around a split-screen layout that balances mechanical schematics with telemetry data. This real-time monitoring visual breakdown couples 3D physical pipe cross-sections directly with the pressure-volume plot. By positioning the structural deformation visuals alongside the quantitative swaging metrics, the layout demystifies a complex subsea operation. We prioritized clean graphical indicators and clear structural labeling so that Asset Integrity Managers immediately grasp how the diagnostic telemetry translates to verified structural reinforcement.
The animation sequence employs a step-by-step mechanical progression, mapping physical pipe expansion synchronously with the plotting of pressure points. This industrial software demonstration showcases the precision of the Oil States technology, relying on clear spatial choreography to guide the viewer through each phase of the swage process. The visual identity utilizes a high-contrast technical aesthetic that helps differentiate structural layers from diagnostic indicators, reducing cognitive fatigue during dense data segments. This calculated delivery establishes an authoritative tone, building absolute stakeholder confidence in the deployment methodology and driving decisive asset management decisions.
