Imetrum
Imetrum's video is designed to guide viewers through the integration and precise setup of their non-contact extensometer systems. In modern material labs, traditional testing methods suffer from accuracy issues due to mechanical knife-edge slippage and specimen damage. Transitioning to advanced non-contact strain measurement resolves these errors and protects delicate equipment from sudden material failure. Failing to adopt these high-precision instruments results in compromised material data, damaged testing hardware, and costly operational delays.
Our design team anchored this materials testing product demonstration in a clean, high-contrast studio environment to highlight the physical interface of the testing hardware. The composition frames the simple, template-guided marking process before showcasing the precise positioning of the camera sensors relative to the specimen. Close-up layouts emphasize the structured alignment indicators and the blue LED illumination fields casting over the testing area. This structural clarity demystifies the installation workflow, so that Materials Engineers immediately grasp the operational simplicity and precision of the testing process.
We animated the step-by-step sequence using precise camera zooms and sharp digital indicator overlays that follow the material as it stretches to its breaking point. This technical workflow walkthrough utilizes a muted, low-glare dark background contrasted against crisp, illuminated guide markers to minimize cognitive fatigue for the viewer. Advids structured this timing to mirror the actual laboratory pace, ensuring each phase-from mounting to measuring-is digestible and realistic. The authoritative visual presentation establishes technical credibility, building trust in the reliability of the measurements and encouraging lab managers to upgrade their testing infrastructure.
