Volvo Trucks
Volvo Trucks' video was built to make complex physical properties-like vehicle aerodynamics and fluid dynamics-easy to grasp. Operating within the high-stakes heavy-duty logistics sector, transportation enterprises face intense pressure to optimize performance. Ignoring minor wind-resistance inefficiencies leads to skyrocketing operational costs and excessive fuel consumption across massive fleets.
Our design team at Advids structured the static layouts to bridge the gap between high-end industrial photography and clean vector overlay schematics. We anchored this aerodynamic engineering visual breakdown in high-contrast cinematic shots of the vehicle moving through alpine highways, overlaid with precise technical callouts. The compositions contrast the truck body against deep mountain backdrops before zooming into the cabin's corner, isolating the stabilizing vents with sharp, clean typography. This layout contrasts the physical components against live-action footage so that Fleet Managers immediately grasp the aerodynamic ROI of these physical refinements.
To demonstrate the airflow, we animated thin, parallel wind vector streams that trace the cabin contours and bend around the stabilizers. This engineering design walkthrough utilizes fluid simulation trajectories to visually anchor how air reacts to physical updates. The overall clean, cool-toned aesthetic vibe minimizes cognitive clutter, focusing attention entirely on physical physics and streamlined dynamics. By blending premium real-world driving footage with highly structured technical overlays, the video establishes a sophisticated, authoritative tone that reinforces fleet-wide trust and drives immediate action.
