Hololight
HoloLight's video was created to showcase the real-time, high-fidelity streaming of massive 3D models to standard XR hardware. In the automotive and industrial design sectors, rendering massive CAD datasets on standalone devices often forces teams to heavily compress their files. This data reduction leads to compromised detail, delayed design cycles, and fragmented collaboration. Without an efficient spatial data streaming pipeline, engineering teams face substantial bottlenecks during critical review phases.
Transitioning from a physical workspace to a virtual studio, our design team established a high-contrast cinematic dark mode for the HoloLight presentation to ground the viewer's focus. We focused on a highly detailed smartphone display showing a sports car reflecting virtual studio lights, which serves as an immersive 3D model visualization. By framing the vehicle's interior dashboard with its detailed console and infotainment screens, we illustrated complex data fidelity, so that Design Engineers immediately grasp the platform's rendering power.
The HoloLight animation strategy utilizes smooth perspective sweeps and precise depth-of-field shifts to simulate the physical presence of a virtual prototype. This technical capability preview maintains a balanced composition by placing the high-poly vehicle in a pristine virtual environment, minimizing visual clutter to prevent cognitive fatigue. By routing complex spatial data directly to the user's field of view, the video establishes a professional tone that builds stakeholder trust. Our team at Advids ensured that the final production clearly communicates the practical utility of modern streaming workflows.
