Edco
EDCO's video is produced to proactively answer maintenance questions, showcasing easy physical access to serviceable parts. We tailored this piece for the concrete resurfacing and surface preparation industry, where improper machine setup directly leads to costly unplanned downtime. Without a clear understanding of cutter configurations and shaft replacement steps, operators risk damaging the planer drum, leading to operational bottlenecks and decreased job site efficiency.
Our design team began by establishing a clear visual split between the carbide and steel-pointed cutters to map out their specific applications. This detailed mechanical configuration walk-through aligns with a clean 3D assembly sequence, illustrating how the drum components interface. The rendering isolates the internal drum shafts, demonstrating the exact physical path of the replacement shaft as it pushes out the worn component. We structured these static technical layouts for EDCO's equipment with high visual clarity so that Field Operators immediately grasp the maintenance methodology.
Our animation strategy utilizes precise, sequential cross-sections that guide the eye through each stage of the shaft replacement. This 3D technical training module employs a clean, high-contrast palette that defines the components against a neutral backdrop, significantly reducing cognitive load for the viewer. By pacing the movement to match actual physical actions, the visual flow prevents fatigue and ensures safety protocols for EDCO machines are easily absorbed. Advids delivered this authoritative visual resource to cultivate long-term operational trust and drive precise machine maintenance.
