3Dconnexion
3Dconnexion's video was engineered to show how physical input hardware integrates with advanced digital design environments. In the high-stakes sector of mechanical design and product development, standard input peripherals frequently cause severe ergonomic strain. Without a dedicated device, CAD Designers and Engineers face critical design bottlenecks and wrist fatigue, ultimately leading to delayed product launches and reduced accuracy. We aimed to highlight how pairing tailored hardware with professional CAD software directly mitigates these productivity losses.
Our design team structured this 3Dconnexion CAD workflow visualization by placing the physical hardware in a split-screen layout alongside the CAD user interface. We coupled a clean, close-up composition of the device's specialized buttons with a dynamic viewport representation of an electric scooter model. This structural pairing demonstrates how specialized inputs route directly to active viewport panning and zooming commands, so that CAD Designers instantly grasp the tactile efficiency gains.
We deployed precise kinetic camera moves to transition between the physical mouse chassis and the virtual assembly rotation, creating a highly clear hardware capability walkthrough. Our design team selected a high-contrast dark aesthetic with soft studio lighting to reduce visual clutter, ensuring the viewer's focus remains on button highlights and screen interactions to minimize cognitive fatigue. Through this structured approach, Advids engineered a narrative for 3Dconnexion that guides viewers directly to the final call to action, building immediate trust in the brand's ergonomic expertise.
