Kongsberg
Kongsberg's video was created to show how physical wind-assist machinery synchronizes with digital control centers for optimized vessel performance. Operating within the global shipping sector, shipowners face mounting pressure to reduce fuel overhead and meet stringent environmental regulations. Failure to adopt Wind-Assist Integration results in significant energy waste, higher operational costs, and non-compliance with evolving maritime sustainability standards.
The Advids team structured this maritime technology visual breakdown using high-fidelity 3D schematics to expose the internal coordination between the engine and the propulsion hardware. We integrated an X-ray wireframe view of the controllable pitch propeller and engine room to visualize how the system compensates for increased sail thrust. This transparency extends to the power distribution layers where energy routes from sails to battery storage are mapped with distinct data-flow nodes, so that Fleet Managers immediately grasp the ROI of a unified energy balance.
The motion strategy employs fluid dynamic simulations to demonstrate wind-to-thrust conversion alongside real-time navigation adjustments. Our team designed this industrial system visual exploration with a high-contrast cinematic dark mode, using glow-mapped overlays to guide the viewer through the complex power management cycle. This structured aesthetic reduces cognitive load and prevents viewer fatigue when processing dense technical data across the vessel's digital bridge. By maintaining an authoritative, engineering-first tone, the video establishes Kongsberg as the definitive leader in maritime automation and builds immediate stakeholder trust.
