Autodesk Tandem's video was created to illustrate the real-time flow of data, transforming overwhelming analytics into actionable insights. In the facility operations sector, managing massive physical assets without coordinated telemetry creates severe operational blindspots. This data fragmentation often results in delayed maintenance, equipment failure, and compounding technical debt. Our production team highlighted how digital twin telemetry mitigates these risks by aggregating isolated IoT feeds into one coherent space.
We structured the layout of this digital twin capabilities demo around a split-screen workspace that pairs the physical building model directly with tabular data streams. The static composition relies on a clear, clean data-grid format that easily transitions into interactive, multi-layered line graphs. By stacking distinct sensor readings-such as humidity and temperature-onto a single coordinated horizontal axis, the layout makes complex environmental correlations instantly decipherable. This design architecture reduces visual clutter so that Facility Managers immediately grasp the operational value of side-by-side asset comparison.
The Advids animation strategy utilizes smooth pointer movements and dynamic dropdown expansions to guide the eye through this interactive dashboard walkthrough. By pacing the visual shifts around intuitive click events, we demonstrate how users filter data streams by status, parameter, or host with minimal effort. This structured aesthetic focuses on clean interface lines and high-contrast telemetry paths to prevent viewer fatigue and lower cognitive load.
