Konica Minolta
Konica Minolta's video was engineered to prove the enhanced throughput and reduced downtime achieved by their high-volume print production system. Within the competitive commercial printing sector, operators rely on speed and flawless quality to maintain profitability. Sticking to legacy systems leads to costly production bottlenecks, high print waste, and devastating unplanned downtime due to slow ink drying and manual quality inspections. Our team built a narrative focused on high-efficiency output to show how modern hardware mitigates these operational risks.
We began by creating highly detailed 3D schematic renders of the internal machinery to form a clear digital press operational breakdown. The visual design isolates the printing drum, illustrating how the printheads apply ink with microscopic precision. We contrasted the droplet behavior of the proprietary UV ink directly against standard water-based alternatives, demonstrating how the specialized technology prevents ink spread. This structural approach deconstructs complex chemical and mechanical actions into a straightforward sequence, so that Print Shop Operators immediately grasp the ROI of the hardware's extreme precision.
Dynamic camera pans follow the paper web, while glowing callouts track the real-time scanning process of the automated inspection unit. Incorporating this physical motion into the technical hardware visual overview ensures that the machine's internal speed translates clearly to the viewer. The clean, industrial aesthetic uses a high-contrast dark palette with localized highlighting to draw focus to critical mechanical processes, reducing cognitive load and preventing viewer fatigue. Through this purposeful styling, Advids produced an authoritative presentation that establishes trust and drives Commercial Printers toward adopting modern, high-volume digital printing workflows.
