B2B Product Demo Video for HOLOWITS SafeVideo: Disk Failure Shown in 3D
HOLOWITS needed buyers of camera storage to see why SafeVideo keeps recording when a disk fails, a difference that sits inside a closed box. This B2B product demo video opens the box in 3D: disks turn red, video keeps reaching the wall, and every feature is set beside the "Industry" default it replaces.

The problem: no buyer can see a RAID group fail
SafeVideo's claims are about what happens inside a storage unit: "File-based RAID" instead of "Block-based RAID", hot swapping, and repair of bad sectors without a full rebuild. On a spec sheet these read like every other storage vendor's list, and the box looks the same from the outside.
The buyer's real fear is a gap in the recording when a disk dies. So the video had to show a disk failing and the camera feed staying up, then set each SafeVideo feature beside the default the buyer runs today.
How the video shows each SafeVideo feature, scene by scene
Every claim is written on screen, with "Industry" on the left and "SafeVideo" on the right, so the video works with the sound off. Select a time to play that scene above.
| Time | On screen | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| A camera pole with a "HOLOWITS VMS" overlay, a control room video wall, a data center aisle, then the title "SafeVideo". | Places the product where the buyer's video is recorded, watched and stored. | |
| "Video-centric integrated design": 2 units with see-through disks, labeled "Industry, Block-based RAID" and "SafeVideo, File-based RAID". | Names the one technical difference the rest of the video builds on. | |
| "More efficient read and write", then glass disks inside the unit: "Improved disk performance and longer disk service life" and "50% higher read/write efficiency". | Puts a number on the first promise. | |
| "More reliable storage". "Greatly reduced data loss upon disk failure": 2 disks turn red while video still reaches the wall. Then "Disk hot swapping upon disk failure". | Shows the failure the buyer fears, and the recording staying up. | |
| "Hitless repair of bad sectors ensures service continuity": "Global reconstruction required when certain sectors become corrupt" vs "Partial automatic reconstruction based on file slicing". | Shows why a bad sector does not mean a full rebuild. | |
| "More agile configuration". A worker in a hard hat at the rack, "Site visits required for device configuration", beside a man at a desk, "Remote configuration no matter where you are". | Turns a software feature into a trip the buyer no longer makes. | |
| "Rapid capacity expansion without interrupting services": a "Disk capacity" grid fills, with "RAID group capacity expansion does not interrupt services". | Answers the next worry: growing storage without downtime. | |
| "SafeVideo - a futuristic technology born for video storage", then the HOLOWITS logo and "Everything Sensing for an Intelligent World". | Closes on the product line and the brand. |
Storyboard: the frames that carry the HOLOWITS SafeVideo B2B product demo video
Key frames from the finished video, in order. Select a time to play that moment above.

The setting: a control room where lost video would show at once.
The core difference, named once: block-based vs file-based RAID.
The efficiency promise gets a figure: 50% higher read/write.
The second promise gets its own title card.
2 disks fail and the camera feed still reaches the wall.
A failed disk is swapped while the unit keeps running.
Only the bad sector is rebuilt, not the whole disk.
Configuration moves from a site visit to a desk.
Capacity grows while services keep running.

4 decisions behind the HOLOWITS SafeVideo demo
Decision 1
Put the old way next to every claim
From 0:12 each scene splits into "Industry" and "SafeVideo" panels, from "Block-based RAID" vs "File-based RAID" to "Site visits required" vs "Remote configuration" at 1:24.
Copy it: For each feature, name the default your buyer runs today and show it in the same frame.
Decision 2
Fail the disk on purpose
At 0:38 2 disks in the array turn red while camera data keeps flowing to the video wall, under "Greatly reduced data loss upon disk failure".
Copy it: Demo your product at the moment it gets tested, not on a normal day.
Decision 3
Hang 6 features on 3 promises
Title cards split the video into "More efficient read and write" (0:22), "More reliable storage" (0:32) and "More agile configuration" (1:14).
Copy it: Group your feature list under 3 outcomes and give each one its own title card.
Decision 4
Make the disks see-through
The 3D disks turn to glass at 0:26 and the bad sector is rebuilt in part at 1:06, things no camera could shoot inside a sealed drive.
Copy it: If your difference lives inside the box, plan 3D cutaways instead of a product shoot.
From SafeVideo feature list to 3D storage demo
- 3 promises, 6 proofs. The script grouped SafeVideo's features under efficiency, reliability and agile configuration, each with a scene that proves it.
- Industry vs SafeVideo storyboard. Every proof scene was planned as a split, with the default setup on one side and SafeVideo on the other.
- Industrial 3D models. The HOLOWITS rack unit, disks, cameras, control room and data center were modeled, with see-through materials for the disks.
- Data flow visualization. Camera data was drawn as moving blocks, so a failing disk and a feed that keeps running read at a glance.
- Animation and render. Disk failure, hot swapping, sector repair and capacity growth were animated and rendered.
- Compositing and edit. The claim titles and "Industry" vs "SafeVideo" labels were composited, then sound design and the final edit were added.
Scope of work:
Production took 3 to 4 weeks on a budget of $1,200 to $2,000. See the 3D video production service for how a project like this is scoped.
Questions about the HOLOWITS SafeVideo B2B product demo video
Why does the SafeVideo demo compare every feature to "Industry"?
A storage buyer judges a feature against what they run today. From 0:12 each scene puts "Industry" and "SafeVideo" side by side, starting with "Block-based RAID" vs "File-based RAID".
How does the video show what happens when a disk fails?
From 0:34 2 disks in the array turn red while camera data still reaches the video wall. The note reads "If two disks in a RAID group in the recommended mode fail, video services can still work properly and the remaining disk space is available for storage."
What does "hitless repair of bad sectors" look like on screen?
From 1:00 a pair of 3D disks show a red bad sector. The "Industry" disk needs "Global reconstruction", while the SafeVideo disk is rebuilt in part under "Automatic data reconstruction".
Why does the configuration scene switch to people?
Remote setup is about who has to travel. At 1:24 a worker in a hard hat stands at the rack, "Site visits required for device configuration", beside a man at an office desk, "Remote configuration no matter where you are".
Which figure does the video use to back the efficiency claim?
At 0:28 the text "50% higher read/write efficiency" appears over the SafeVideo disk, under "Improved disk performance and longer disk service life".
How long did the HOLOWITS SafeVideo video take, and what did it cost?
The 1:51 video covered 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, data flow visualization, rendering, compositing, sound design and the final edit. Production took 3 to 4 weeks on a budget of $1,200 to $2,000.
