Blockchain Explainer Video for Flare FTSOv2: One Word per Claim
Flare needed DeFi builders to remember one thing about Flare Time Series Oracle v2: its feeds are built into the network. This blockchain explainer video does it in 29 seconds of kinetic type, with 5 one-word claims and a last line, "Enshrined. Every feed. As secure as the network."

The problem: every oracle says secure and fast
A smart contract can only act on outside data, such as a crypto price, if an oracle brings that data on chain. DeFi teams choose an oracle on trust, and every oracle claims to be secure, fast and decentralized. Those words alone do not tell a developer why to switch.
Flare's own line for FTSOv2 is "More data, delivered faster. Free to query any crypto feeds that are as secure as the network." The video had to say the shared claims quickly, then land the one claim that is Flare's: the feeds are part of the network itself. It also had to do that in under 30 seconds.
How the FTSOv2 video makes its case, scene by scene
The whole video is on-screen text, so it works with the sound off. Select a time to play that scene above.
| Time | On screen | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| The Flare logo with pink and white spheres, then "flare.network" on pink. | Puts the brand first, in its own colors. | |
| "Introducing", then "Flare Time Series Oracle" stacked word by word, then "v2" and an eye-shaped ring icon. | Names the product in 3 beats before any claim. | |
| "FTSOv2 is the oracle DeFi needs." builds word by word. | Gives the short name and the market in one line. | |
| A pink wipe to white, then one word per screen: "Secure", "Fast", "Scalable", "Decentralized", "Cost-effective". | Covers the claims every oracle buyer checks, about 1 second each. | |
| "FTSOv2", then "More", then "More data, delivered faster." | Turns the claims into one promise. | |
| "Enshrined. Every feed. As secure as the network." | Lands the claim that is Flare's own. | |
| Large pink letters, then "flare | The blockchain for data" with the spheres back. | Closes on the category Flare wants to own. |
Storyboard: the frames that carry the Flare blockchain explainer video
Key frames from the finished video, in order. Select a time to play that moment above.

The open puts the Flare logo and its pink spheres first.
The full product name lands before any claim.
One icon stands in for the oracle.
The short name meets the market in one sentence.
The first table-stakes claim gets the whole screen.
The fifth one-word claim closes the run of shared claims.
The claims fold into one promise.
The claim only Flare makes comes last.
The close sells the platform, not the feature.
4 decisions behind the Flare FTSOv2 explainer video
Decision 1
Name it 3 times before any claim
From 0:04 to 0:11 the product appears as "Flare Time Series Oracle", then "v2", then "FTSOv2" in a sentence.
Copy it: If your product has a long name and a short one, show both and link them on screen before the first claim.
Decision 2
One word per screen
From 0:12 to 0:17 the 5 claims get one screen each: "Secure", "Fast", "Scalable", "Decentralized", "Cost-effective".
Copy it: For claims your buyer expects, use one word per cut and keep moving. Do not spend seconds proving the table stakes.
Decision 3
Save the difference for last
The claim that is Flare's own, "Enshrined. Every feed. As secure as the network.", comes at 0:22, after the shared claims.
Copy it: Find the one claim only you can make and put it after the ones everyone makes.
Decision 4
Close on the category, not the feature
The last line, built from 0:26 to 0:28, is "The blockchain for data", not the oracle's name.
Copy it: End a feature launch on the line that places your whole platform, so the feature sells the brand.
From Flare's launch line to 29 seconds of type
- Script from the launch line. The script was cut from Flare's own copy for FTSOv2: the name, 5 claims, "More data, delivered faster." and "Enshrined".
- Type layout. Each line was set in Flare's typeface on pink or white, with "flare.network" at the top and the logo mark at the bottom of every screen from 0:03 to 0:24.
- Word-by-word animation. Lines were animated to build one word at a time, so each phrase lands on a beat.
- Icon and wipes. The eye-shaped ring icon and the pink wipe from the name section to the claims were animated.
- Sphere effects. Pink and white sphere particles were built as visual effects for the open and the close.
- Sound, edit and render. Sound design, the edit, color grading and compositing were done last, then the final render.
Scope of work:
Production took 3 to 4 weeks on a budget of $1,200 to $2,000. See the motion graphics video service for how a project like this is scoped.
Questions about the Flare blockchain explainer video
Why does the Flare FTSOv2 video use only text?
Developers judge an oracle on a few known claims, and text states them faster than a diagram. Apart from the logo and one ring icon, every screen is a line of type, so the video reads with the sound off.
How long does each claim stay on screen?
About 1 second. "Secure", "Fast", "Scalable", "Decentralized" and "Cost-effective" run from 0:12 to 0:17, one word per screen.
What does "Enshrined" mean in the FTSOv2 video?
At 0:22 the video says "Enshrined. Every feed. As secure as the network." Flare's description puts it as feeds "that are as secure as the network", free to query and now on Flare mainnet.
Why does the video show the product name 3 ways?
"Flare Time Series Oracle", "v2" and "FTSOv2" appear from 0:04 to 0:11. Showing the long name first and the short name in a sentence teaches viewers the name they will see in docs and posts.
How does the Flare video end?
From 0:26 it closes on "flare | The blockchain for data", fully drawn by 0:28, so the oracle launch ends on Flare's platform line rather than the feature.
What did the Flare FTSOv2 video take to make?
Production took 3 to 4 weeks on a budget of $1,200 to $2,000, covering motion graphic animation, visual effects, sound design, editing, color grading, compositing and final rendering.
