AkzoNobel
AkzoNobel's video was crafted to track the physical transformation of sterile urban spaces through strategic color application. In modern municipal development, leaving cities as monotone concrete environments causes community stagnation and reduced economic vitality. Municipalities must combat this architectural fatigue by adopting human-centric urban design to foster social connection. Without this visual identity, cities risk losing local pride, tourism, and business development to more engaging, dynamic regions.
Our design team addressed this structural monotony by constructing a clean, high-contrast vector aesthetic. We anchored this urban renewal visual presentation in isometric city blocks, starting with stark grey structures to represent uninspiring developmental layouts. As the narrative progresses, these blocks dynamically receive targeted hues representing architectural warmth and corporate personality, so that Municipal Leaders immediately grasp the direct relationship between aesthetic investment and community engagement.
Our motion designers deployed sequential, sliding wipes and clean vector scaling to simulate actual paint application across the community facades. The palette evolves from an oppressive monochrome to a balanced, saturated spectrum, carefully controlling screen contrast to reduce viewer fatigue while sustaining high engagement. By framing this illustrative brand overview with an authoritative voiceover and clear narrative transitions, Advids established a compelling call to action that inspires developers to reimagine their physical footprints.
