ABB
ABB's video was built to make complex physical properties-like thermal management and fluid dynamics-easy to grasp. In the heavy industrial and manufacturing sectors, communicating the utility of large-scale electrification solutions is historically challenging. Without an intuitive grasp of how these massive systems capture ambient energy, Facility Directors risk continuing their reliance on fossil-fuel boilers, leading to elevated carbon footprints and missed decarbonization targets. Our design team at Advids focused on demystifying industrial thermodynamic cycles to prove the commercial viability of this sustainable heating technology.
We initiated the design with a clean-white CAD model of the physical unit before transitioning into a high-contrast, color-coded functional loop. This layout serves as a clear thermal system operational walkthrough, mapping the fluid journey from the low-pressure evaporator to the high-pressure condenser. By visually stripping away the bulky steel casing and highlighting the cycle's heat sources-ranging from wastewater to geothermal wells-the composition lowers cognitive load. We structured this path so that Energy Engineers immediately grasp the operational ROI of heat recovery.
The animation utilizes smooth, continuous fluid flow indicators to represent the vapor compression process, using temperature-gradient visual cues to indicate heat transfer. This dynamic movement anchors the functional machinery diagrammatic explainer, demonstrating exactly how low-grade energy is amplified. The minimalist design reduces visual fatigue, allowing viewers to focus entirely on the physical mechanics of the pressure shifts. Ultimately, this authoritative presentation builds brand trust and confidently drives the final CTA, establishing ABB as the undisputed leader in sustainable industrial engineering.
