Alnylam
Alnylam's video was designed to decode their proprietary molecular mechanism, turning complex gene-silencing biology into a clear therapeutic value proposition. Within the advanced biotechnology sector, communicating microscopic cellular operations to non-specialists presents a continuous communication barrier. Without a clear explanation of how these therapies work, developers risk slower clinical adoption while patients continue to suffer from the unchecked production of disease-causing proteins. Our design team resolved this by visualizing how RNA interference halts harmful protein synthesis before it ever starts.
We structured this gene-silencing visual guide using highly stylized vector illustrations that translate microscopic interactions into digestible structural models. The visual layout establishes a clear contrast, showing a ribosome translating a golden protein chain that shifts to a toxic green hue to represent unwanted disease-causing proteins. We then introduce a multi-faceted blue protein complex acting alongside siRNA to target and cleave the rogue messenger RNA strands. This clean, symbolic framing strips away biological clutter so that clinical researchers immediately grasp the therapeutic precision of the platform.
Our animation strategy utilizes deliberate, linear movement and smooth transitional cuts that mirror the natural cellular binding process. This high-level scientific overview employs a high-contrast aesthetic with prominent text overlays to ease cognitive load and prevent viewer fatigue. By utilizing clear, symbolic scissor icons to demonstrate the cleavage of messenger RNA, Advids structured the narrative to build immediate confidence in the therapeutic pipeline. The authoritative voiceover combined with these precise motion sequences establishes deep credibility, driving viewers toward the final technical call to action.
