Bio-Techne
Bio-Techne's video was created to show how their compact laboratory hardware synchronizes directly with local digital analysis platforms. In biotechnology research, relying on bulky, centralized plate readers often results in severe operational bottlenecks and delayed assay results. Without an accessible, on-the-go testing alternative, lab teams face high equipment overhead and restricted scheduling that slows critical protein analysis. We engineered this visual narrative to demonstrate how transitioning to decentralized laboratory workflows eliminates these costly delays.
Our design team at Advids anchored the visual composition in clean, minimalist laboratory settings to immediately focus attention on the device's small footprint. We presented a clear microplate reader product walkthrough by framing a researcher inserting a 96-well microplate, followed by an overhead shot of the device linked to a laptop. These split-screen layouts and clear diagrams decode the internal 96-well optical sensor alignment, so that Assay Technicians immediately grasp the spatial efficiency and immediate ROI of a personal reader.
To emphasize operational speed, we utilized snappy sliding transitions and dynamic UI highlights that mirror the rapid five-second data capture. Our animation choices transform this technical product highlight into a compelling demonstration of real-time diagnostics. We chose a bright, clinical aesthetic with high-contrast text overlays to minimize cognitive load and prevent viewer fatigue during dense data-flow segments. This structured presentation, combined with an authoritative tone, guides researchers toward the call to action and builds long-term brand trust.
